Giving the bouquet to the longest married couple at the wedding

We didn't do a bouquet or garter toss. Instead we did a trivia game where our guests were given a piece of paper to fill out with questions about us like both of our favorite color. They came onto the dance floor and had to get at least one answer correct for each question or they had to sit down. The last 10 got prizes.

Building on what Jessica said, ive heard of some people doing a dance, where all the couple's start of dancing, then the MC or DJ or whomever starts asking those who've been married 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, etc to step off the dance floor (one milestone year at a time), and the last dancing couple, the longest married, gets the "bouquet toss"! Im planning on doing that

I've been struggling with the bouquet toss as well. I will only have 3 or 4 female guests unmarried and probably the same with men. My fiance still wants to do the toss since its tradition but I was thinking of skipping it. I like the idea of giving the bouquet to the longest married couple, its cute.

We did an “anniversary dance”. DJ plays a slow song (that we selected) and all married couples dance. He calls out years married. Couples married less than that step off the dance floor (you and your husband will be eliminated first). Couple married the longest gets the toss bouquet. Our winning couple has been married 47 years!

I am also not crazy about the idea of a bouquet toss as we don’t have too many single friends or family members. I love the idea of an “anniversary dance” as an alternative! So creative and meaningful

We just left it out. I have my bouquet and dried it and just didn't purchase a "toss" bouquet.

We’ll also be doing an anniversary dance and I’ll give the bouquet to the couple who’s been married the longest.
