Hey all! I just finished my boudoir photo shoot and OMG! It was so much fun! I had a lot of different outfits haha. I shot with my sister which made me super relaxed. As for outfits, I wore several things:
Red Lace Bodysuit from RomWe/SheIn with black heels
Black/Nude lace lingerie from Victoria’s Secret with black heels and stockings
Nude/White lingerie from Forever21/Charlotte Russe with my veil, roses, and pointe shoes/nude heels
White lingerie from H&M and Forever21 along with my Bridal Robe from Icing and nude heels
White lingerie from H&M and Victoria’s Secret along with FH’s white work shirt
FH’s blue flannel and pink lace undies from Charlotte Russe and knee socks
Red & White checkered lingerie from Forever21 with tiny jean shorts from Plato’s Closet
White shirt in the shower
needless to say, I think my fiancé will be VERY happy 😊
Tips for any others who are considering doing a boudoir shoot:
Be yourself! It helped that I was with my sisters, so that already helped me. You should trust your photographer for sure!
Bring several different options for clothes, your photographer should be able to help you decide what will photograph best while also making sure you’re confident!
Trust your photographer. He/she knows angles and if they say to turn slightly one way or another they know what they’re talking about! Some of the most awkward feeling poses looked AMAZING.
Ask to see photos as you go so that you know you’re happy with what’s happening. Again, I was with my sister so she automatically showed me every 30-50 photos or so.
Most of all, HAVE FUN and BE CONFIDENT! These photos are for you and/or your spouse, and you/they will love them no matter what!!
