OP, thank you for posting this! I read this a few days ago, and it pushed me across the fence on wanting to do this as a gift for my FH! I spent the last few days researching and finally found a photographer who not only does great work, but had an opening next week and is willing to get me the digital images in time to gift to my FH before our Sept. 14th wedding!!!

I did this for FH birthday a fee years ago and we actually brought him in for the last pic...he was soooo surprised and excited!

I thought about doing one but just didn’t have the time to find someone and fit it in before the wedding. I’m definitely thinking of doing it as an anniversary gift though!

I would really love to do this for my FH, I think it would mean everything to him. I am not confident in my body whatsoever and I feel self conscious a lot of the time. He always tells me how much he loves every part of my body and wishes I saw how sexy I am (in his eyes). I just don’t think I could be anywhere’s neat comfortable enough to be this vulnerable with a photographer! I’m also terrified of getting my photos back and hating them and feeling even worse about myself.

View Quoted Comment I did a lot of research to find my perfect match because I wanted an all female studio because I didn't want another Male to see me like that because I felt it disrespectful to my FH and the studio I chose was amazing! I felt awkward at first and felt like I would hate my photos but when I got them back I LOVED every one of them! It definitely gave me a confidence boost and I was able to see myself the way he does 🥰 I would highly recommend it! We are doing a couples session next time

I felt the exact same way and posted a similar post recently. I'm my worst critic so some of the photos I hated but I started to love more than I disliked. They just mailed out my album today so can't wait to see the pictures in the album. This is one of the gifts for my FH too. This is a screenshot of two pictures from my shoot. I don't have a personal computer to download them to email. I didn't want him to accidentally see any of the pictures and ruin the surprise.

I did a boudoir photo shoot and made an album for my FH as his wedding gift. I loved how they turned out. I highly recommend a boudoir photo shoot. It's very empowering. Luckily for me, my wedding/engagement photographers are a husband and wife team and the wife does the boudoir photos.

This forum is so encouraging!! I was really interested in booking a session, but I couldn't swing the price. So I am actually trying to diy a boudoir shoot with my Polaroid! Let's see how this turns out lol
