I tipped mine. She did a phenomenal job and had so many ideas!

I didn't. But she owns her business (as in it's just her, no employees). And I paid 1000 dollars for what I got. So I didn't even think of tipping her.

Should I have?

I wouldn't if they own their own business.

I would tip any good photographer, whether they own their business or not. If they do a good job, they deserve it.

@Miranda, not necessarily. Her owning the business is neither here nor there. it's who provides the service and goes above and beyond who gets the tip. But it's not expected, so you did your part.

My fine art clients have tipped me, I don't expect it or look down on them if they don't. But anyone who does, I appreciate it when it happens.

Tip, even if she owns her own business. I learned the hard way (i. e. Getting yelled at on WW) that you ALWAYS tip the vendors even if they are in business for themselves

If people dont mind me asking how much do you tip? I have mine next month and total about 1200.

My sister in law took our pictures as a gift to us and I still made sure she got a tip. I don't feel comfortable letting people work for free.
