So we are going the fake flower route and I have no idea where to begin! I am not a crafty person by any means, I know some brides could go to michaels or hobby lobby and piece a bouquet together, but that is not me! However, I would love to be able to shop their floral sales and get my flowers. Anyone have any tips on what to buy, how to get better and knowing what goes together and how to piece everything? Pinterest is some help, so is youtube bu I would like to hear from y'all! Thanks!

Kudos to you for taking on the challenge. So what’s on sale right now will be the previous seasons flowers, some new stuff but mostly spring flowers. You really can’t wrong. Google what flowers are in season when your wedding will take place and what flowers compliment them. But in all honesty, you really could just go straight color scheme. Start with your primary color and accent color. Then don’t forget greenery. It doesn’t matter if it’s a rose or a hydrangea... most flowers will look good together. Don’t be afraid to go across the color wheel to either. Like red and oranges or yellows and greens or yellows and blue. And you only need 1 to 3 of each flower.

Some would start star with greenery, but I’m not a greenery person I like my bouquets to flower full. You can do it. Just go in there and go crazy. You can’t do it wrong it’s just flowers!!!
