Booking

We booked our florist and baker in February, and our photographer in May, for our December wedding. Most asked for a deposit up front and we've been making small payments towards our balances every few weeks.

The sooner the better. Just to guarantee your date. I booked a lot of mine a year out so i knew exactly what i had to pay for. And had time to make payments.

As soon as possible.

We just booked our photographer (we have a venue and catering planned already) and we’re getting married the weekend after you. Since you’re on a holiday weekend I’d definitely say sooner rather than later is better. Lots of vendors we spoke with would lock us into 2019 rates if we booked before a certain date otherwise we’d be paying the increased rate. Happy planning!

My wedding is in September of 2020 and my vendors have all been booked for over a month. I even bought my dress last month. The only vendor I still need is hair and makeup. I wanted my top choices locked in and I wanted to just coast along without worrying.
