Hi!!
We are getting married on 6/27/2020.

a few questions about when to “block” out a group of rooms at the hotel/where in Toledo would be closest/affordable. We are getting married at Wahlbridge park and then having the reception at the armory! It will be an early afternoon wedding and reception. We’re thinking it’ll be a smallish wedding with maybe 100 people, most from out of town. We’re unsure of who will use the hotel and realize that the end of June is going to be busy with events and the holiday that follows!

any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I would call the hotels you’re interested in and ask what they recommend. My hotels wouldn’t let me block til 8 months out.

Call the hotels you are interested in blocking and get their contracts to review, find one or two you want to block and ask them when you can do it. I am June 6 2020 and they told me at a year out I can block off rooms.

Oh goodness! Thanks ladies! I will start calling around! It is hard to get a head start when you aren’t for sure how many will actually attend or if they are able to go out that far! I am starting to feel a little bit of the pressure!!
