Booking Hotels for Bridal Party?

Kathryn, on March 24, 2016 at 11:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

I'm just looking for your guys' advice on something here...I am not sure when is good timing to book my hotel for the night before my wedding for me and my bridal guests. The date is November 19th as you can see with my avatar..but I am looking to book a nicer hotel, and they book pretty quickly for November since it's around Thanksgiving. So I'm trying to find the balance between booking it too early but not missing a chance with the hotel!

Also! Any advice on how to split up rooms? I have 6 people in my bridal party and then there's myself, so I am not sure how to split us up into two rooms. I can't find rooms that sleep more than 4 and I don't want us all to have to cram into beds together since the whole point of getting us all a hotel is to help my line feel comfortable and luxurious the night before- not crammed!

Thanks in advance! Smiley smile I always appreciate your help, ladies!

If you know your hotel, you can book it now, there's no harm in doing so.

You could see if they have those connecting rooms! And honestly, you won't spend a ton of time not sleeping in that room until the following day when you're getting ready--and I imagine you'll all cram together that day anyway!

Yes book now! I booked in February for my October wedding. If you know it books up fast, it's smart to book asap. Also, see if there is a residence inn in your area. They have awesome rooms for 6 people!! I booked a room for us and there are two beds and a sofa bed. Perfect!

I booked as soon as I could for mine. They have a 24 hour cancelation policy so if something happens then I am covered. Plus I don't have to pay for it yet.

I would find a hotel that has a sofa bed like pp said. So nice of you to do this for your girls. Just make sure all of your girls are up for the slumber party , some may not like sharing a room /bed...

Look for hotels that offer suites with several bedrooms within the suite. I would book soon.

You could see if the hotel had a family suite that way you can all stay in the same room and this is usually a lower rate than getting the connecting rooms.

    I would book now.
