Booking Airbnb

We got ready at our venue in the bridal suite, but we booked our wedding hotel about 6 months in advance.

Our wedding is about 3 and a half months away and we haven't booked our wedding night hotel just yet. We'll probably book that and our honeymoon at the end of this month, so just under 3 months away.

I got an Airbnb for the bridesmaids and myself to get ready in. I booked it about a year in advance because I really wanted this cottage and my wedding date is super popular (10/10/20).

We are going to start looking at hotels for room blocks and such after the new year!

I would start looking in the next month or two and plan to book 6 months out unless you had a very particular area or house, then book sooner.

We got ready at our venue which was a hotel, but my sister-in-law and her husband and my brother-in-law and his wife shared an Airbnb and they booked it about 6 months in advance. They wanted to make sure they had a place to stay. They could have stayed at our venue, but they were looking for cheaper options and my sister-in-law asked her brother (my brother-in-law) if he was interested in staying in an Airbnb as well and he said sure so they split the cost. Their Airbnb was about 5 minutes from our venue. A friend of mine booked an Airbnb for our wedding as well, but he waited until about 1 month prior to the wedding and the closest one to our venue at that point was a 20 minute drive. If you found one you like, I would go ahead and book it that way it is one less thing you have to worry about.

We are currently about 7 months out from the wedding. FH and I plan to book Air BnB's as well. One for myself and the bridesmaids and another for FH and the groomsmen. We plan to book within the next month or so.

I booked the Airbnb about 6 months before

I booked my room WAY in advance, like maybe a year and a half out...it's a very small inn, and there was ONE particular room that I wanted--it's a suite and overlooks the river. My bridal party just booked their Airbnb for my July wedding--they're all staying in a house together to minimize expenses. To be fair, we're getting married in a tiny town...

I booked mine in January for my wedding in November. Then they cancelled the booking on us 5 minutes after check-in time. So, the earlier, the better, but have a backup plan just in case!

View Quoted Comment I did not have one. However, my bridesmaids and photographer worked their butts off and got us an executive room at one of the nicer hotels in the city at a crazy discount.

We get married on November 27th, 2020 but I'm looking at booking in January because it'll be for the Thanksgiving holiday so things book up fast in the mountains of Colorado.
