We just put a deposit on our honeymoon! Yay!
I can’t wait!
We get married 3.14.20 and leave for Ireland the next night! We’ll be in Dublin for St. Patrick’s Day and then off to explore the island 💞

How cool! We are going on a vacation to Ireland in June 2020, but my birthday is St. Patrick's Day! Smiley smile Surprisingly enough, I've been told they don't really celebrate the holiday in Ireland hahaha

We are also honeymooning in Ireland, as both our great grandparents came from there. All I can say is godspeed on St. Patrick's Day! haha. Dublin can get rowdy on that day but if you're both extroverted and don't mind crowds, you should be just fine!

It is definitely celebrated, but in different ways. The Irish typically celebrate by going to church and having a family meal. However, Dublin - especially in Temple Bar area - really does up the partying. Ironically enough, the Dublin St. Paddy's celebration was actually designed to emulate an American St. Patrick's Day. So you're more likely to find tourists get rowdy, while the locals go about their day or stay in the quietness of their own homes. lol

You'll love it there! I was fortunate enough to study abroad there, and have wanted to go back ever since! It's so beautiful.
