Booby Tape for Plus Size Brides

Brandi, on June 9, 2019 at 9:33 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
My dress is due to come in towards the end of this month. It has straps, but the upper part of the back is kinda of sheer, so I went to a local “expert bra fitting” store to find a strapless bra (https://thebragenie.com/index.php). The people at this store are amazing, but unfortunately, my boobs don’t get along with strapless anything...never have, never will. As my amazing expert fitter described it, I carry a lot of my breast tissue in the sides...which I think was her nice way of saying my boobs ain’t perky. 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ Despite her best (and currently ongoing) efforts, I left without a bra for my dress (but I did buy a regular everyday bra that’s THE
most comfortable & best fitting bra I’ve ever owned). However, she did suggest Booby Tape if she’s not able to find me anything else. They sell it in the store but I found their site (https://boobytape.com/) and IG page and have just been trying to do my own research. It’s fairly cheap, so I’m thinking about buying a roll & testing it out, but I wanted to see if any brides my size (48K, 30 dress) have tried this stuff. Any tips for using it?

Try a Brassy bra. I hear they really work.

I’m not sure about the tape, but I’d ask your seamstress about sewing cups into your dress. They would help hold you in & up and offer more support than just the tape. Maybe use the tape in addition to the cups as an extra help?

I'm not well endowed in the top but that leads to it's own problems! I'll be using tape or pasties to cover the nips just in case of a slip even with straps.
If you have sensitive skin test the tape somewhere other directly on the breasts, like the stomach, to start because you can be allergic to the glue. And that's a bad time.
    Good luck.

I used a product called Bring it Up that I bought on Amazon - it was perfect for the added support / confidence I needed! It held up all well past midnight after a night of intense dancing - will definitely be using it again!!!

I am going to a special bra store next month to hopefully get a strapless. I found one I can use if I need to but it will involve a lot of double sided tape and not be the lyft I want.
