Boob tape anyone?

SylvieS, on August 19, 2017 at 8:14 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 3 24

Hi! Hoping to get some advice here. Wedding is in 1 week!! Smiley surprise

My dress has a very low cut, deep V neckline. I was hoping to be able to wear those sticky cups, but alas, my D boobies are not even slightly supported by those, and you can see the bumps through the dress... I need something that will lift them, so I was looking into taping. Has anyone tried it?? How does it hold up with dancing, sweating, etc?

Here's a pic for reference Smiley smile

I wish I could offer some some advice but I'm apart of the itty bitty titty committee .. i do believe tape would work better. Maybe try VS, or another lingerie store.

Hey date twin! I will be using this tape. I haven't tried it for hours but I did for my fittings and it felt like it would hold. Gives you a very nice lift Smiley smile

I wish I could help, but I am too part of the itty bitty titty group. I've heard it works for those large girls though. Good luck!!!

The Hollywood boob tape is great! I used to dance competitively and I used it all the time!

As a fellow D boob girl, I will tell you that personally for me, those store bought clothes tape for the boobs don't work very well. I've resorted to double-sided masking tape and it works absolute wonders. Holds up for hours of dancing, and as long as you cover your nips, taking off the tape isn't painful as it might sound. Good luck!

ETA: yes must be masking tape!

Yes the Hollywood breast lift tape and their double sided tape is magic. I use both together. I'm also D. For me sweat didn't move the tape - but I used a lot. Good luck.

Wow I just tried the Kim K taping thing and it seems like it'll work!! I used medical

tape and nipple covers. I'm going to wear this the rest of the day and see how it holds up.

I've also read that people use sport tape and it works. I think there are videos in YouTube on how to put it on for great support.

    What a beautiful dress!!!!

fellow D boobies here - Hope you find the solution you are looking for... My dress isn't as low cut, so I'm just wearing a regular bra.

Would be seriously interested in hearing if anyone that is a D (or bigger) can find ANY good non-wired bras at VS. I've not found anything there in years and years.

Duck tape girl!! I have DD and I like to wear my low cut tops and crop tops hehe. Duck tape will lift and hold them into place and will literally NOT move! Now, taking them off isn't as fun but I do the band aid method and just rip it quickly off and it's fine! It's cheap and always affective!

I use long let pieces to cup underneath the breasts, I'll hold my boob up and place the tape straight underneath then around the side of the boob going upward. I bet you can even try and YouTube this.

Update: It worked! I was able to last 8+ hours with the medical tape with no adhesive issues. The removal was painful though, and it irritated my skin a little bit, so I'm thinking of taping on top of sticky cups for the actual wedding. Lol I keep picturing the wedding night. Dress comes off, and husband encounters a thick layer of tape Smiley tongue

I'm not sure which tape you used buy this is the athletic tape I use all the time to tape my boobs. I don't think it's painful to remove. I'm 36D so I know the struggle of trying to use those stick on bras.

Perky Pears for sure. DO NOT use duct tape - it's not made to go on your skin and can cause irritation and take off quite a few layers of skin when you remove it. The Perky Pears lasted me throughout my rehearsal and my wedding with no issues, I was sweating my ass off and they didn't budge at all. I'm a full D/DD. Super easy to take off if you just use some coconut oil too.

    ETA: You look gorg btw!
