Bonfire afterparty

Lalaluna, on September 9, 2018 at 9:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 11

It's super last minute, but I just thought that I should probably change out of my wedding dress for our bonfire afterparty. Anyone have any ideas of what to wear that would still be "bridal" but comfortable? I'd worry about my dress getting too dirty or smelling like smoke! Come to think of it, I didn't plan anything for the day after either!

I’m doing the same thing, but I’m just wearing skinny jeans and boots and a sweater. Maybe you could get a little tiara and a sash that says bride. Those are so cute.

Hi Lauren! If everyone from your reception is planning to stay for the bonfire after your reception, you may want to inform them in advance! Since many people will be in suits and dresses they may also want to bring a change of clothes! As for your outfit, you could always do a fun cozy white sweater with a pair of jeans and top it off with a sash! This would be really fun and comfortable! I found a picture for inspiration:

We are also having a bonfire after party! I'm wearing jeans and boots with a really cute but casual cream-colored lacy top.

If you do want to wear a white dress, but don’t want to get an expensive white dress dirty/smelly, Lulu’s has some amazingly cheap bridal-looking dresses.

Another white dress, I would think. Whether it's a maxi dress or a sundress!

We're also having a bonfire- I got my bridesmaids and myself flannel button ups, and leggings to get ready in, which they all plan to wear out to the fire afterward. After a while day of drinking and dancing, I'd want to be as comfortable as possible.

I am going to have a bonfire after party too! I am going to change into some comfy sweat pants and wear my bride flannel! It will be perfect and comfy and enough room to eat lots of s'mores!!
