Does anyone knows of a good venue or house by the beach to rent .. for a reception and ceremony

Where are you located? Be aware that Airbnb and Vrbo do not allow events even if the individual owners advertise for them, and your party can get shut down without warning.

Maybe see if any hotels in the area do weddings (lots of them do). You would also get the benefit of maybe being able to get a discounted room block, which is great if you have guests travelling from out of town

I was just trying to help you provide a bit more info in case anyone has specific recommendations. I should have included an answer like Michelle mentioned earlier. You could also check with real estate offices in the area if the AirBNB does not allow rentals for events.
