Body Rock DJ/MC at Westbury Manor cost

Alexa, on July 28, 2017 at 9:19 AM Posted in Planning 0 10

So I'm posting to see what you guys paid for body rock dj entertainment. We booked them for February 8 and got the DJ/MC and lighting package. It came to 2,250 total.

Just wondering what other brides paid and if we got a good deal.

Thank you!!

Hi Alexa! This community has engaged couples from all over the US (and international couples as well), so it might be tough to find someone else who used the exact same vendor as you. Definitely check out the reviews for Body Rock Entertainment from their past clients, that would probably be the most helpful information:

We had them for our wedding. I'm at work right now so I don't have our receipts, but I will surely let you know as soon as I get home tonight.

They were great and we all had a great time. My guests were all praises for the DJ and MC!

My office shares a building with BodyRock lol My bosses use them all the time for their kids Bar Mitzfahs and other events. Nice guys we talk to them all the time. Sounds like a reasonable price for Long Island. I paid $2500 for my DJ/MC package.

@Alexa, yea lighting is included we get uplighting, a monogram (I think on the dance floor? We'll see in 2 weeks what that means haha), and a lounge area set up by the bar which is unique.

Sounds like a good deal. BodyRock quoted us over $3k for our wedding at Chateau Briand, so we said NOPE. Then after seeing some of their videos, we realized they didn't fit our style.

We went with DJ Spynfo - his most expensive package was $2300 (we paid $2000 after getting a discount since he and H are SJU alumns). The attached pic isn't from our wedding, but it's what the set up that we went with looks like. We used him for the reception and for the recessional only (the processional and cocktail hour was with a string quartet).

eta: he threw in a gobo for about $150.

@Alexa, sorry it took so long... our DJ/MC from Body Rock was a total of $1,695.00. They were really good and everybody was dancing all night long and had a great time. They even accomodated us because me and my cousins surprised my DH and other guests with a flash mob! Soooo much fun!
