So I only have three bridesmaids and they are my two sisters and my fiancé's sister. I let them all pick different dresses as long as they were floor length and the same color. They are also picking their own shoes because no one will be able to see them anyways. Since everyone will be in vastly different dresses, I wanted to buy them all something that will unite them while we are all standing together during the ceremony (and in the pictures). I picked out a lovely beaded capelet and asked my sisters what they thought, and one immediately rejected the idea because it did not go with the cage neck of her dress and now I'm stuck.

I want something that is more noticeable than a bracelet or necklace since they will all look very different. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

I guess it depends a little on what style of dresses they chose, but I'd tend to think that them all being the same color will make them look pretty united already - my girls picked their dresses the same way and we're not doing anything extra to make them look more similar. They'll probably have flowers during a lot of photos and the ceremony, so that will help too. If you want something extra, maybe something to put in their hair could work?

A shawl maybe? Or bracelet? Or flower crown? I would think the bouquets will make the girls look united and the fact their dresses are all the same color.
I had 8 BM & 1 MOH. My MOH was in a different color, but the rest were in the same color. All the dresses are different, everyone's shoes & jewelry are different, everyone chose their own hair & makeup. I still think they all looked like BM & complimented each other super well!

Thanks for the ideas! I should clarify that when I asked them to all choose the same color, it was not a swatch at David's Bridal or anything like that... most of my ladies found their dresses at Goodwill or a thrift store, so they are likely to be quite different shades of mint green.
