bm dresses

Lulu, on July 31, 2019 at 10:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16
Are you choosing dresses for you BM? Or allowing them to choose within your color scheme? I am aiming towards allowing my girls to choose their dress bc I want them to feel beautiful and comfortable while in their budget...however some of them dress very revealing, and I want to keep it more classy and conservative but I am afraid of coming off a certain way if I ask for this...input please

I let them choose within my color scheme. Maybe you can give them examples of what you like or are hoping for in terms of dress styles and what you envision?

I'm allowing them to choose within my color scheme as well. I have different sized girls and I want to make sure they feel comfortable. I do want them to wear the same color but they can wear any style.

Our bridesmaids are choosing their own dresses. If you give them a website or store like Azazie or DB, they don’t really have super revealing options.

I also chose a color and they're choosing their own dress style. You could also kindly suggest dress guidelines!

I'm also having my BMs choose within my color scheme from Azazie. You could always ask for them to send you a picture of which ones they were considering!

I am giving my girls 7 dresses to pick from in the same color, length and fabric. They can pick whichever one they want but I wasnt comfortable not having some sort of say. I only have 3 bridesmaids so I think 7 is good number to pick from.

I wanted them to feel comfortable in them. I picked out about 15 dresses for them to chose from. I also decided the color. That took the longest time for me to decide. I wanted them to kind of go together but not be tooo matchy.

I’m asking what they like but I’m choosing because I’m buying. As I said though they are very heavily involved in what they wanna wear or not. I am having a very small wedding though and so I want everyone to match!

I am choosing dresses because I’m particular on how I want them to look, but I want ALL of them to be comfortable. They’re all wearing the same styled dress in my wedding.

I picked a color and length from Azazie, and told them to pick whatever they wanted, just nothing super low-cut or scandalous haha. I wasn't really worried, but putting that out there as a half-joke seemed safe. My MOH made a group on Azazie and added a bunch of dresses that she thought looked good, and then the other girls added their own and/or chose from those already there. Not sure about other sites, but Azazie at least has a ton of options, so you could always create a group and add dresses you think are good choices and let them pick from those.

I let my MOH choose her dress, I told her what color I wanted. Same with my 3 stepdaughters...I told them they need to have a royal blue dress and gold shoes but I was giving them free reign to pick out the styles they want.

I picked a color, fabric, and length from Azazie and let them choose from there. They had over 100 options from $89-$169 (cheaper if they ordered during a sale or a clearance dress). I let them pick their own shoes, jewelry, and hair and makeup. I couldn't care less if they were revealing or conservative, they all looked beautiful.

I decided I wanted alternating colors, but wasn’t sure about different dresses until we all went shopping. I have girls of all sizes and they all agreed on a simple dress and it was really easy.

My girls dress like Kim K! I want them to feel comfortable and I want them to want to wear their dresses again but I also want my grandparents and church friends to look back at my wedding pictures and not blush! That is why I care that they are not too revealing.

Thank you ladies! I enjoyed reading your responses! I, unfortunately am not a huge fan of Azazie!! I know Bummer:/ I have decided to ask my girls to pick any floor length strap/no strap champagne/gold/sequence/lace or satin dress of their choice with not too low of neckline or too high of a slit: ) I’m so excited to see this in pictures!! I think the mix of texture will look amazing and I think they’ll appreciate the freedom to pick..thinking my MOH can wear any dress in rose gold 😍

I'm letting my bridesmaids choose their own dresses within my color scheme! Smiley heart I just told them they need to wear floor length dresses and the dresses need to be purple.
