So my sister ordered her bridesmaid dress from David’s Bridal on May 3. She called them today to see when it would be ready as she realized no one told her. Well, the dress is due to come in by August 20! Our wedding is August 8!! The dress my sister ordered is a size smaller than what she tried in the store because that one was a little large on her. She’s a little worried that the size 2 will be too small, and that it may not come in in time!
Anyone who has ordered dresses from David’s Bridal, do they tend to come in earlier than the date they say they will? How has your experience been?

All of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from DB - each one came in early. Very early. One was told it would be there in July, it showed up in May. When I ordered a dress for a friend's wedding, I ordered it in November, was told it would arrive around mid-January, and it showed up before November was over.

My bridesmaid dresses were ordered in January and were due to arrive at the end of May but they all got theirs March and April.
Even my one bridesmaid that ordered hers in mid February got hers in April and it was due to arrive in June.

The ones I have ordered have always come in earlier. I would suggest she call and tell them when the date is so maybe they can get it there faster. Also with my shop they never called me when one of my dresses came in and when I called to check on the status they said it had been sitting out back waiting to be picked up for a week *eye roll*. I hate ordering dresses from there but they are one of the best places around. Also look online, I've started ordering online rather then in store and they seem to come faster then ordering through the store.

Most of my girls ordered theirs in the store in November and were told they wouldn't come in until February. They had them by December. Two of the girls ordered them online and had them within a few weeks even though it said it would take much longer. It really depends if they have the dress in stock or if it is a special order dress.

All of my girls ordered from DB as well. All of them came in way earlier than expected except for my MOH. All of my BM's dresses came in within a few weeks of ordering so way earlier than what they were told. The dress my MOH picked out was one of their Vera Wang dresses and hers took about 2-3 months because they said they didn't keep the one she chose in stock.

My girls ordered in early March and they were told they would be in by June, but all 5 came in by the end of March.

All of my girls ordered DB's dresses and they came in within a couple of weeks.

The last wedding I was in, we ordered from DB and all of our dresses came at least 1.5 months earlier than expected.

Thank you all! It’s so good knowing that everyone has had their dresses come in earlier than expected, especially since half my bridal party hasn’t bought a dress yet!

I bought my wedding dress from DB. They told me it would be several months, but I literally got it a week later. I was so shocked haha

Mine were ordered in March and they told us by July. They were all in by the beginning of May. Hopefully the same happens for you!

My girls all ordered from DB and all their dresses arrived very quickly, all arrived before the estimated arrival date. I’m sure they put such a long estimate date to cover themselves. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the dress arrived next month!
