bm dresses clashing with bride dress

Connor, on January 26, 2020 at 3:39 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
So I was planning a hippie/boho wedding. Still technically am, but THE dress I fell in love with... is not what I expected nor boho. I am planning natural earth tones for my 4 bridesmaids. My dress has a very light pink/champagne tint to it and sparkly. I have managed to find a bouquet that will work with the dress and the theme, but I’m worried the winning bridesmaid color isn’t going to look good with my dress.

More details: outdoor fall ceremony with field background, indoor reception. Greenery and white for bridesmaids bouquets. Guys are wearing khakis, white button up, blue blazer, brown belt & brown shoes. bm dresses clashing with bride dress 1

The color looks like it would go fine with the dress, but maybe consider a slightly darker shade? since the colors in the pictures do look kind of close.

I agree with pp, I think a darker shade would look nicer.

Me too, but they pretty go from sand to the one pictured to chocolate 😕 I will post a pic of the two I got it down to, one which is darker than this one, but I was concerned after editing it would get even darker. bm dresses clashing with bride dress 4

This one of the one my MOH picked, they all get to pick what they want in the color and long length. Thank you!

What about a dark cranberry colored dress is this style? Would look great for fall, will give a pop of color and go great with the pinks.
    Just a suggestion.
    Congratulations!

I do think that this dress is close to yours. I saw the shade darker and I think this is more neutral still.

I think they look totally fine together, even with the shades being similar. The bride always stands out WAY more than the bridesmaids regardless.

Ah I see. Well I love that the two of you will be similar! How fun! I do like the darker shade that you have pictured, I don't think that it's toooo chocolate. It will also look different in dress form than on the sample. Are you able to look up previous weddings that used that dress color?

This might be too wild of an idea, but what if you have your bridesmaids wear a sage green color? Still earthy, and it will go with the blue and khaki of the groomsmen.
