Mine is a black diamond as well! People mistake it for sapphire as well but they also get confused whether it's an engagement ring or not!

I love blue sapphires, and fell in love with the antique look of this ring. I thought it was too expensive but my fiance thought otherwise, so happy he did......I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Emerald Engagement Ring

My engagement ring is Emerald and white Sapphire. Green is my favorite color and I'm Irish, so my fiance made the wise choice of picking a ring that incorporated that. I actually used to joke with my best friend (now MOH) that if a man ever proposed to me with a diamond, I'd have to turn him down on the grounds of not knowing me well enough.

Colored rings are awe-inspiring. I adore them and have a few ones of different hues. My wedding ring was green. The point is how you feel yourself with this ring on your finger. Feeling matters, not color. Should say, any color looks organic if it is enhanced with other same-color elements of wedding look or décor. Just overplay the hue of your wedding ring and it uncovers itself from the new side, and you will get the harmonious wedding conception.

My ring has a pear shaped ruby stone with three small diamonds on either side of it! I LOVE how non-traditional it is and it stands out from your typical wedding/engagement ring. I am up to the challenge of finding a band that goes with it but I think I want to leave it as is!
