My fiancé has had a ring made for my 12 year old daughter and plans to give it to her at the ceremony, but we don’t know exactly how or when. What are your thoughts?

That's so sweet! Maybe when you exchange rings, he can present your daughter's ring too. You're becoming one family!

Hey Carrie! This is such a gorgeous idea! Your daughter will be so happy! Does she know that she will be getting a ring, or will it be a surprise?

As the pp mentioned, I think when you are both exchanging rings yourselves could be a good way to introduce it. It flows naturally in the ceremony format also.

I think that is amazing. Truly amazing . I would have him give her hers right before you exchange yours or right after !

I asked the same question as I’m planning something similar and I got a response from a bride here who’s officiated weddings before. I thought it might help you too.
