Blanket to guest ratio?

The wedding is in 8 days and the forecast has dropped 13 degrees. So, I'm ordering some fleece blankets, probably today. I found some on sale for $2.99 until tomorrow! We are having 100 guests. How many blankets should I provide?

Laura, at Kmart. I googled cheap fleece blankets and it was the best price that came up. They are on sale through tomorrow. Normally they are $7.99. And i'm hoping the weather changes again and stays warmer.

I'm planning on reading out to everyone I can this weekend to inform of it being outside and also to let them know about parking, etc... Also we are having our band start plying music half an hour before the ceremony so I'm passing the word around about that too.

DH would not get under a blanket at a public event. No matter HOW cold he was.

I would just get a few - maybe 20. And let the guests know so they can bring a jacket or scarf if they want.

Great idea about leaving the tags on them so you can return what isn't used. Smiley smile

My mom's church is currently doing a blanket drive for the homeless - just called her to confirm they were still doing it. Any blankets not used (or left behind and then cleaned) will go to their drive.

I went to a posada this weekend and it was so cold because the wind was blowing and it was cloudy o no sun but they gave out hot rice pudding that is milkier than the one you buy in the store and it helped but i would have loved a fleece blanket. I say forty max.
