Black/white question

So..... of course my gown is white and my FH loves the idea of white short coat w black lapel along w black pants. Would it be strange to have my girls in black gowns for an August wedding? And his guys are wearing black pants white shirt and black suspenders.i I’ll share pic of his choice.

No, I don’t think it would be weird to have them in black. Black is usually comfortable for everyone plus it’s so elegant!

I think it sounds very pretty, but I also wear a ton of black. The only issue would be if it is outside because August can be very hot and black would attract the sun.

I don’t care for black, and probably only own a couple items of black clothing. However I think if you bring some color into your wedding with the flowers and decor, it could be done very tastefully. But all that depends on your venue and style of the wedding. Black and white seems harsh to me and lacks personality, but it’s not my wedding. If that’s the look you love, go for it. I’m sure there’s tons of pictures on Pinterest to help you get an idea of what it would look like and how to do a beautiful wedding in black and white.
