My FS and I are invited to a wedding and I just noticed it said..."Black Tie Requested" Does this mean my FS needs a Tux?? He just bought a dark charcoal suit since we have another wedding too so we thought it would be good for both. And I got a black cocktail dress that comes right below the knee....

If you have a Men's Wearhouse, I rented my FH & his boys; tux from there for $71 w/ tax. I am sure my tax is different from your state but it's a start. But I must also add, I didn't rent the tux jackets.. no need, they wouldn't be wearing them so I didnt want to pay. Hope this helps.

It means that they want you to wear a tux, but know everyone can't afford one so it's alright to show up in a dinner jacket or suit if one must.
