BLACK FRIDAY- Best things to buy for the wedding

I'm hoping to get our wedding bands on sale; I already warned FH that he may be getting sent after them since I won't have black Friday off. I did take Cyber Monday off though and hopefully I will catch some deals on decor.

Cake toppers is on my Black Friday list as well since I want a customized one.

I'm hoping to catch our wedding invitations for 50% on black Friday

I didn't even think of this!!! I think I'll hold off on save the dates and other decor until then Maybe if I see certain things, I'll get my bridal party gifts or maybe even get some DIY items. I'll just look and see what deals are going to be going on.

Also, with that, there's Cyber Monday!

Thanks for this post. FH and I are definitely getting invitations on Black Friday remember there were great deals last year. Did anyone get a great deal on their wedding dress on Black Friday? Now I feel I need to make a list of stuff I will need to keep an eye out for.

I think we can safely assume (or at least I will) that the vast majority of users on this site are female. I don't see anyone complaining when someone addresses WW users by saying "hey guys" or "what do you guys think" etc. I think it's silly to get upset over this. If they had said "ladies and gentleman" someone could easily complain that they didn't address the individuals that don't identify as either.

I have a whole year yet! I don't want to buy on Black Friday and then change my mind!! The struggle.

@FutureMrs.V I was thinking something similar. I looked at the use of "ladies" on the forums here to be similar to how "guys" is used IRL to describe a group of people. A generic term for addressing a group of possibly mixed gender with a WW twist since probably at least 90% of the users on here are women. I think I've even heard ladies used IRL to address a group of mixed gender that was predominately women, and none of the males in the group seem perturbed by it.

Not to derail the thread, but I think it's problematic to discount someone else's perspective. Just because majority of the users may be female or identify as such, you shouldn't just say "well forget the minority". Just because we may not always see reactions, does not mean they don't feel excluded.

It's a small gesture to be kind and welcoming. I would much rather be kind.

Going to try and get bridesmaid "getting ready" outfits taken care of! They are fairly expensive so to save any money will be really helpful!

Anyone know if any online wedding shops that had Black Friday/cyber Monday sales last year?

I'll definitely be checking out michaels and hobby lobby for centerpiece ideas!

Also good point about rehearsal dinner/bridal shower/bachelorette outfits!

Do y'all think wedding band sales will be better now or should be wait for christmas or Valentine's Day?

I'm planning to order STDs & I'd really like to order invites, but it's so far out I'm not sure thats a good idea so soon!
