I am struggling with figuring out how I will wear my hair on the day of, because I just think there aren't enough photos out there of black brides with natural hair in their wedding hair styles. So here I am! Please share photos of your wedding day hair/test styles/inspiration for day of hair...

I will have to have some type of unit or weave or whatever. I usually don't wear weaves but my hair will not withstand the humidity all day on its own. I want to be picture ready as long as the photos and video are going!

My FH wants me to wear my hair out so everyone can see how long it is, but I thought about keeping it curly and wearing a flower crown. We're getting married in late August and in NY my hair straightened doesn't stand a chance! Lol, I was looking at finger waves as well!

I wanted all of my bridal party to wear their natural fro... (all are natural) but some aren't comfortable with the length yet.

This is a 3 day old wng with no pineapple-ing (yes I created a word, Lol) and obviously no fluffing or no added product but I think it works!

I'm wearing my hair in a braided halo most likely. I don't want to worry about the style falling plus I'm wearing a drop veil. Probably will add hair since I'm armpit length. YouTube has a lot of nice and elegant natural hair updos etc

I'm going to go a crochet braid blow out. My hair is protected but I still get the natural hair look

I love this thread! I'm doing natural clip ins to add more length as it's currently about shoulder length. I've debated on this a lot but I'm thinking something simple like this bride

Random question - My hair hasn't been chemically treated in several years but in the past I always wore it straight (blow outs). However, I haven't put much heat on my hair for probably close to two years. Now when I straighten it (blow out, flat iron and curl) it doesn't seem to hold curls as much without going limp. Anyone else have this problem?

@futuremrs have you done a protein treatment lately. I mix one egg, 1/4 cup of mayo and 1/4 cup of olive oil together and leave in my hair for twenty minutes. It helps my curls bounce back.

This is my inspiration pic! I'm getting it blown out before the wedding just to make it easier to set my hair and the bun is just 2 packs of kanekelon(sp?) hair braided together. My FH loves my natural hair but the amount of prep and product to get her juiced up and looking right is not in the cards on my wedding day lol!

@Keisha I'll have try that. My natural hair is curly (no issues there). It's just when I blow it out or try to wear it straight it doesn't seem to want to stay straight anymore. It puffs right up.

I too was thinking of adding hair or getting a weave, I recently trimmed a LOT of my natural hair so I'm back to above shoulder length. But was thinking of doing a crown braid or something like your bun do @Aderine85...my friend got natural clip in from here http://heatfreehair.com/store/ that she used when she got married and her hair was beautiful, but with us getting married in the Bahamas and then leaving for a 3 week honeymoon I just did not want to risk my hair acting up or needing to figure out how to do my hair in week 2 of our honeymoon!

Now I'm leaning toward a braided or twist style. FH loves my chunky twists and asked me why I didn't want to wear my hair that way, but I wear it that way ALL the time, lol. Any braided style inspiration would be LOVE

    Keep those photos coming!!

So much inspiration! I'm considering a sew-in or crochet braids. I don't want to think about my hair on my honeymoon. Luckily I have plenty of time to figure it out!
