Black attire with jewel tones?

Bride here! Without making this long winded... I'm thinking of having our color scheme be "bright and moody jewel tones" (see picture for inspo). Would it look weird to have the bridesmaids is black dresses? I would like them all in the same color/different dresses. I was originally thinking dark blue but then thought black might be unexpected but still look cool (and everyone looks good in black). Thoughts/opinions appreciated!

I think any really dark colours would look lovely - whether that is navy, dark green, black, even a really dark reddish pink colour would look amazing, and serve as a backdrop for those vibrant flowers. Plus black is easy to find and as you say, flatters everyone!

Black has become way more common for bridesmaids, so I think you are safe. Plus they can usually be worn again!

I think this would look gorgeous with the bouquet example you have! Make sure they’re all “pure” black or similar materials so photos don’t look too off.

I've always seen the dark blue or dark green. And even though it looks great, I don't think all my girls will look good in dark green. haha
