Bittersweet Save The Date Situation

It's been a rollercoaster the last couple days dealing with our save the date (and invites) designer and I'm not 100% satisfied even though they still came out nice. Just not what we were expecting and she failed to communicate certain things in order to get what was clearly advertised on the website.


Anyway, FH and I have mailed them off today so I'm hoping that everyone gets them and because of the weight and texture of the card stock, we got "non machinable" stamps which is great. I'm excited that we got that out the way. I just wish it was sent out the way we expected them to be. I'm really hoping there are no issues when it comes to our invites.Bittersweet Save The Date Situation 1

    Sending save the dates and invitations is such a nice feeling because it makes you feel like things are really happening

    Very true. Still happy that we got them out. The envelopes just weren't exactly what they were supposed to be.

    I love the black envelopes! I really wanted to do a bold colored envelope for our wedding invites but was afraid it would be too much hassle finding an ink that would show up. We just sent out wedding invites yesterday and it was such a relief!

    Thank you. It definitely caught my eye when I saw it on the website. It has white piping on the edges on the back and it was supposed to be silver but, well, like I said, the designer never clarified somethings so whatever. We were originally going to do a Navy and Wine envelope with white ink printed but since our entire plan changed, so did our theme.
