Has anyone ever had a Saturday fall on your birthday and due to that reason, you decided to get married?

That’s interesting aha. Truthfully I don’t think I’d want to get married on my birthday though if that were an option

My birthday is 3 days after my wedding. I didn’t even think about that until like a month later, our venue only had two dates in November. Either the 20th (the day we chose), or the Friday after Thanksgiving (definitely not a day we wanted to plan around).

I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t want my birthday so close to my anniversary. I like to go and have a nice girls trip for my bday and go somewhere romantic for my anniversary. Having them so close together would limit my budget for both and that’s a lot of time off of work.

We thought about planning our wedding in between our birthdays (I’m 8/3 he’s 8/13) and we both decided that would be the worst decision ever!

For me, my birthday is a month later after our wedding, so still close but not SO close that it takes away from my bday or our anniversary. I wouldn't of wanted to get married on my birthday

Because currently we use that weekend to always celebrate our birthdays, it's a special time for us. Why would we want to combine our birthdays with our wedding celebration. By choosing a later date, we spread out our holidays, birthdays and weekend getaways

My Aunt got married on her birthday and she later seriously regretted it. All the celebrations were too close together and her birthday didn't feel special on it's own.

Our anniversary will be only 4 days before my FH's birthday. But it's also near Memorial Day so we will often have extra days off to go do a bigger trip each year. We decided on that day because there were only two available dates at our venue and the other day was the day before his daughter's birthday.

I'm planning on having our wedding cake baker make a small birthday cake to give him at the rehearsal and have everyone sing to him. He will be 31 while we are in Jamaica and I thought it would be fun to surprise him.
