Hi ladies and gents! So I have - fairly big forehead and I would like to wear my hair up because 1st, i’d like to show off the back of my dress, 2nd, my wedding is in August and it’s going to be hot. However, I don’t know how to hide my forehead, but also it’s been at least decade since I had bangs and they always bothered me. I know I should talk about this to my hair stylist but I wanted to know if there are other brides out there in the same boat as me. im going to attach few selfies for reference.

I'm in the same damn boat lol. But then I remember Rhianna also has a big forehead and looks beautiful with it so I doesnt bother me as much.

Haha—thanks for your honesty. It doesn’t bother me as it used to be when I was a teenager but every time I take a selfie and put my hair back, I just realize how big it is. Lol

As a teen, i never cared. It was never an issue. But I started realizing it more and more when I'm getting ready for work since my hair has to be put in a bun and gelled down every day. I sometimes wonder about getting my hairline microbladed but I dont know anyone who's ever done it.

That’s a good thing to research about. I am not sure if it would be necessary though since FH loves me the way I am but I’m just so conscious about it. 😩 But yes, you’re right. Rihanna looks beautiful no matter what so I have to just remind myself of that too.

I think your hair down looks beautiful. If you feel pulling it back makes your forehead appear too large and you don't want bangs, you could swoop a piece from one side to the other, if that makes sense. Or maybe poof the top a bit.

I also have a big forehead and my hairstylist hid it beautifully with side swept pieces and volume!

Do a trial or consider bangs. I’m in the same boat and the few times I’ve had no bangs, I’ve always hated the pics. I wear bangs proudly!

I have a 5 head and I keep curtain bangs to hide it a bit. If I must have my hair pulled back completely, I do better with some volume around the top. Bangs or volume - the best camoflauge for the big forehead dilemma 😂.

P.S. curtain bangs are awesome because you can style them whatever way you want - over the forehead, down the middle, swept to the side.
