So my partner and I planned to get married 2/19/22 in Miami. We had a lot of family drama surrounding it and neither of us would be happy with how the wedding panned out because of it. We are going to HI for vacation in June, and my FH asked if I just wanted to elope while we are there (yesx****-- it was my first choice for our wedding lol).

Don't tell anyone where you are, except for a dog caretaker who will get an address and phone, not hotel. Do not get talked, even by each other into just opening up for parents, or best friend. Just Go.
Have a wonderful intimate wedding, and a long and happy marriage to follow!

Congrats! I’m sure it will be a beautiful time. When our venue capacities decreased, I looked into eloping in Hawaii. But now that we can have our original guest list again, Hawaii might become our honeymoon instead.

Thank yall! I was stressing big time over it, so much family drama and it just seemed to be an uphill battle. I'm so relieved to it just being the two of us.
Now to find a dress My February FL dress won't work as well as a June HI one.
