Bhldn Sanders dress

I think the dress is gorgeous ! Have you bought this yet ?

This was actually the first dress I ordered online when I was searching for dresses. I loved the dress. It is beautiful for the price. However, the "nude" color of it was off for my skintone. It made me look extremely washed out, so it had to go back. I was so sad!

I have some! I tried this dress on at BHLDN. Scrolling back on pictures of the day I was super both my mom and I were surprised at how much we liked it. I ended up with Perdita for my wedding (a used one), but this dress would have been one of my top picks for the price point. Super unique. Also it was VERY flattering and not too heavy. The only draw back were the sleeves were a tiny bit restrictive. I would ask around to see how much hemming or alterations would cost on this type of fabric.

If this dress isn't love I will probably make the trip into the store for an appt and try on a few similar options. Sorrento is another that has that nice beading.

Good luck! Post pics when you receive it. The art deco style is so fun and unique! It's seriously a better looking dress than so many more expensive options. I don't think the sleeves would hold you back from hugging or anything, I was just conscious that they were less forgiving then the sleeveless styles.

I got the dress. I'm in love with it. It is perfect for our outdoor fall elopement. I just need to decide on a belt to go with it as I feel like a belt would cinch if at the waist and make it look look complete. It feels and looks so much more expensive than it is.

I have also recently purchased the Sanders dress for our 9/1/19 outdoor wedding. Would love to hear what belt you found! I loved the Sweet Alyssum that was pictured with it on BHLDN's website, but unfortunately it's sold out. It's been very hard to find a comparable one that looks nice with it. Would also love to see what earrings and shoes you paired with it!
