Satin or satin charmeuse can be and usually is very clingy so it isn't typically very flattering as it shows off every inch of your body. So if someone is self-conscious about any part of their body then they probably wouldn't be too comfortable wearing it.

I agree with Veronica. Although beautiful, this material is not very forgiving. I would first consult with your bridesmaids to see if they would be comfortable wearing it. Another concern would be the fact that it is being worn in the summer. This material shows every bit of perspiration, and will easily stain where the perspiration was. So there is a good chance your photos will have bridesmaids with stained pits, backs, etc.

My ceremony is outside and i am not having them wear satin as the second they begin to sweat or anything it will show on the dress and possibly stain it. So i'm going with a chiffon or looser more breathable material. I do love the look of the satin and my BM have no issues with showing their figure.
