bhldn brides

I've seen a few other discussions on here from BHLDN brides and I was hoping for some insight from you guys! I found/purchased a gown at BHLDN earlier this week (the Capricorn). It was a little out of my budget, but it was the first dress I put on that felt like THE DRESS. Luckily, it is backorded until 9/28, so I have until 30 days after I receive it to change my mind thanks to their great return policy. Since my wedding isn't until Sept 2020, my fear is that I'm going to see it go on sale between now and then, after my return window has passed.

I know dresses there typically don't go on sale until they're on their way out, but does anyone know if BHLDN does Labor Day or Black Friday sales? I really want to monitor their website to see if I can re-purchase the dress at a discount, but it seems like a tricky balance where I could risk it just completely going out of stock in my size.

It’s definitely risky. I haven’t seen sales from then and by the time the dress is discounted sizes are normally limited. You could always order the same size and return the other one and give yourself another 30 days, but then you are paying lots of shipping charges.

Hey Lynn!! WOW!! The Capricorn dress is absolutely stunning! I can totally see why you fell in love with it, the illusion back is an absolute dream!!

I would be very wary about holding out for a sale, especially when you have already ordered the dress and you know you have it. As the pp mentioned, even if the store did have a sale in the coming months, there is no guarantee that they will have this dress in your size discounted. It’s a risky decision and not one that I would personally take.

This is definitely something that you have time to think about it since you have 30 days after you have received it to return it.

What is about this dress that you love?
