BevMo 5 cent sale -- Ordered the champage

Tara, on October 19, 2011 at 4:53 AM Posted in Planning 0 10

Yesterday I worked out the figures for mimosas/cocktail hour, and figured out how many bottles of champagne we will need for mimosas. Well I just got an email from BevMo saying that this is the last week of their 5 cent wine sale, glad I saw it because I didn't know when it ended. So I just ordered the champagne and saved half!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!

    Sale Ends Oct 24th

Before buying ensure your venue does not charge a cork fee for outside bottles.

The small print: buy one bottle, get the 2nd of the same bottle for 5 cents, third bottle full price, fourth bottle 5 cents, etc. And it's not on EVERYTHING, but their select wines. Also I signed up online to link my loyalty card and got a 5% off coupon on top of the sale!

@FMRP I didn't realize they were only in CA & AZ, but I checked and you're right! It's a great place to take out-of-state'rs lol

@ Celia I lived in TN for a while, and was horrified to learn that you can't mail wine to TN! Couldn't join a wine club or have friends in wine country send me a bottle--it sucked!!

@MekMek Thanks for mentioning that!! I don't have to pay a cork fee for my venue, but every other venue I checked out did, and that really changes the prices!

Oh yes... definitely! My family in AZ like to refer to BevMo as Mecca. LOL They love it there... and so does my fiance! He was practically in heaven when we went there for the first time. Hahaha!

Thanks for the info MekMek... I wasn't aware GA would allow any sort of shipping of alcohol... just never know with this state.

I don't think it works like that... lol. At least I don't think. So long as it's not opened, you should be good.

Just keep it somewhere cold, but not in the fridge. Here's an article:

Proper storage and delivery are always a huge concern when dealing with wine and beer. That is why we started offering our beverage distribution services for weddings. Our wholesale prices and free delivery in the Bay Area rival the prices that you would find at BevMo.

If you have any questions about beer and wine, you can send us an email to ******@**************.*** or give us a call at 650-862-9012.
