Between ceremony and reception?

Melanie, on February 6, 2020 at 11:37 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
I’m trying to figure out what to do during my ceremony and reception. My ceremony is at noon and we will probably be done with pictures at the church by 1:30. I haven’t decided about what time for the reception to start maybe 4 or 5? We probably won’t travel far to get more pictures if at all because my wedding is in January and we might not want to go far. Would lunch for the bridal party at our hotel be ok? Or party in the limo? Pizza or room service? Or I could convince my fiancé of this idea If I told him we’d get Chipotle lol

I've heard of people do a party bus aha. If you don't need to set up your ceremony yourself then you could maybe move your time for photos down an hour or so?

Thank you! I was thinking about doing that too! I guess I didn’t want dinner to start too early either

I'd feed the wedding party before the ceremony for sure because they probably won't be able to eat again until 2 or 3 after the ceremony, pictures & mingling. And when I say "feed" I mean like a good filling meal, not small snacks. After I'd have some other snacks for them, like sandwiches or something that is easy to eat and not messy. If the hotel is close, then that's fine because they will need somewhere to hangout from 1:30-4 or 1:30-5.
