My dress zips up the back, but I also have covered buttons with elastic loops that loop over the buttons. I picked up my dress last week and tried to do one and it took for-ever!
Does any one have a trick or technique on how to fasten these quickly and easily? The only thing I've heard of is using a crochet hook. I need to pick one up so I can try it out, but I'm looking for other ideas too. I have a late morning ceremony and a super tight schedule beforehand for hair/makeup and time for getting dressed. I can get in the dress and zip it up in 5 minutes but I don't want to spend another 45 minutes hooking the 16 buttons in back!
Any other ideas and how long do you think it will take to do up the 16 buttons?
