Best way to do Invites!!!!

Personally I'm team mailing invites. Some older folks aren't great with computers, emails could go to spam and not be seen, etc.
My mom still sends me emails to the hotmail account I started when I was 11 even though I tell her I dont check it and to use my gmail.
You could argue that things get lost in the mail but no method is perfect.

We mailed invites but then used our wedding website to RSVP - it worked really well! The only RSVPs we didn't get were from the 4 elderly couples who I don't think really got the whole wedding website thing but we know they are coming so no worries. It was also cool because then we would get emails as soon as someone RSVPed (I may have been a lunatic about checking my email after they went out lol) & the guests could leave little notes with their RSVPs which I liked too - I used The Knot's wedding website feature & put the link on the invites with "Please RSVP via..."

We're mailing our invites and I'm leaning towards online RSVPing instead to save some $$ and make it easier to track. My mother wants to do all paper invites and so does my FH but everything is electronic nowadays and even my FH's 87 year old grandmother is tech savvy.

I personally love receiving physical invitations. It just seems so classy and timeless and I'm always excited to get them in the mail!

It depends on how formal the wedding is. I really only take weddings seriously if I get a formal invitation in the mail. If it's an online thing, I usually assume it's SUPER casual and sometimes forget it in my email. We didn't forget anyone, we made our guest list for 3 months so had plenty of time to think about it.

Love the idea of having people RSVP via your wedding website. I didn't think of this!

I am mailing invites and save the dates, RSVP will be via website. My guests range from very tech savvy to mailing back the RSVPs.

Team mail for the invites. We will probably have both mail RSVP cards, and a place to RSVP on our website, simply because at least half our guests are older, and less tech savvy. They are more likely to want to mail back the physical card.

We did E-vites and it has been amazing!! Besides the fact that it is totally free, you get your responses instantly rather than waiting on the "snail-mail" and if you forget someone, just pop them into the list and shoot them an invite! I am so happy we choose this route
