Best way to break in wedding heels?

Liz, on June 2, 2020 at 1:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I just received my wedding shoes and they are 3.25" tall...any suggestions on how to break these shoes in without wearing them out?

Put them on with socks and heat them up with a hair dryer

Caytlyn's idea is a classic! I always do that and then put them on anytime I'm on the phone and pace around the house while I'm talking. And if the soles aren't textured then take sand paper to them to make them less slippery.

Wear them around the house with socks on. My husband didn't break in his shoes prior to our minimony this weekend and has awful blisters/sores from them, and he only wore them for a couple of hours. He's definitely going to be breaking them in better prior to our wedding a year from now.

I have not tried the socks option, but I'm one to walk around the house in them whenever I get the chance. The sole may be the only catcher, if you want it to look pristine and it's a leather sole, you don't want to scuff it, but you don't want it to be slippery on flat surfaces.
