Best time to get married

Margel & Jake, on May 8, 2020 at 2:07 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 15
Hi— I am getting married in Fresno, CA on Jan 17th 2021.

WE HAVE an option to choose whether we want it from 11 am - 4 pm or 4:30- 9:30 pm. We are not from California, we are from North Dakota so we dont know how sunset/sunrise is in california. What do you guys think?

I would probably go with the later timeframe. You can google sunset times in your zip code on your date and it’ll tell you the exact time. I had to do that because I was getting married after daylight savings in the mountains.

I would go for the later time frame! I personally would rather attend a wedding in the evening.

I would do 4pm. I couldn't imagine getting up and trying to get dressed for an 11am wedding.

Its hard that we wont know the weather till the week of but you should be prepared for rain, have some canopies as a back up.

Date twins !!! I’m having a later start time. Almost all of your guests will have the next day off so it’ll be fine if they’re drinking late into the evening. If you want more of a celebratory party vibe for your reception and not a brunch/luncheon affair then the later time is a better option.

Are you talking about temperature or time of sunset/sunrise? The time is the same as anywhere else. Check accuweather.com for temperature ballpark. You can't really go wrong with either. Depends on how early you want to start getting ready.

I think 4:30 is a much better idea than a morning wedding. Imagine how early you'd have to wake up!
