I won’t recommend Shutterfly or VistaPrint because I’d put them on the same level as Zazzle (again, I loved Zazzle and they have upgraded cardstock and ink options, just looking for a “level up” option). Thank you!

That’s actually a good point. I’m assuming paper quality but it would be helpful to get clarification. I didn’t even think to ask if she wanted fancy stuff like engraving or embossing. So many options. 🤪

I'm super happy with my experience with Minted so far. You get unlimited free proofs created by a designer and they have tons of upgrade options like super thick paper, pressed foil, and I think now they even have imprinted lettering. There's also matching accessories for a lot of suites like belly bands, stickers, etc and matching websites. They also have full custom design services. Minted offers a free sample kit that comes with all their standard papers, some accessories, and color samples, so I would recommend ordering one of those to see if it fits your needs!

Another option is to look for templates on Etsy and have them printed by a high quality printer or I think some Etsy options will even send them to you fully printed and that gives you the opportunity to work directly with the designer.

I've gotten Minted and also Zola. Minted of course is amazing quality but I feel a bit overpriced. Zola is where we got our Save the Dates from and the quality is good but I wanted some a little better for our invitations.

Wow, that's all really good to know. Oooh, I bet she'd love matching accessories. I'm going to send her this thread to review so she can read about these kinds of details. Thank you, Dayna!

I bet Etsy designs are great. I just wasn't sure about paper or ink quality because each seller might use a different printing company.

You're welcome! Even if she decides not to use Minted I think their sample box is excellent and its a great start for getting ideas. They have a pre-selected box where they send you an assortment, and then you can also get several free samples of your own choice. Some of the samples even come with the accessories. I had fun laying out a bunch of options next to my color swatches for dresses and seeing how it all looked together.

Another point for Minted. Good to know about Zola. It sounds like if my future SIL waits for a sale, that'll help. I'll also suggest she order an upgraded sample from Zazzle to compare.

I used basicinvite.com for my Save the Dates and all my samples for invitations were really good quality.
