Best Place To Buy A Plus Size Corset?

Ashlyn, on March 12, 2017 at 4:30 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25

I got my dress and it just almost fits. I need a corset or some kind of high quality shape wear. The problem is, I'm a 3X-4X (depending on the store). Do any other plus size ladies have any places to look?

Search for a custom corset maker in your area.

Amazon to the rescue! I am extremely busty and regular department stores don't carry my size, but I found several online. Buy a handful and return the ones that don't work.

I'd look at a speciality lingerie store - if there isn't one near you, you can look online at barenecessities.com or herroom.com - they should have shapewear and longline bra options in a variety of sizes!

Davids bridal just make sure they give you a new one to try on. If it's one that's been worn before it's been stretched out and they will tell you the wrong size.

Fredricks of Hollywood girl. It's sexy too. But I'd also go with davids bridal if cost is a factor, that's were I got mine. TRY IT ON FIRST and don't let them tell YOU what size you should be. They told me I measured a C cup... I haven't been a C cup in about 15 years so.... stand your ground.

I second Amazon. I would just check out places online. There's a newer store that's like Lane Bryant and it's called Torrid. Check it out, and best of luck!

Lady Grace! I don't where you're located, but they have stores in New England, and you can order from their website!

Amazon never has anything *actually* in my size. I've ordered lingerie before. David's Bridal also doesn't have my cup size, so I can't wear one from there. I'll have to take a look at the rest. Thank you.

Lots of vintage reproduction lingerie companies have sizes in that range.

    Check out:

    And Corset story to start.

I'm blanking on the other ones I know so when I get to a computer I can give you more options

I also got the strapless bra from lane Bryant too. I'll post a link here for you. I wear a 38DDD but used to wear a 44H and I always went to lane Bryant.

    Here is the link....http://www.lanebryant.com/multi-way-boost-strapless-bra/prd-99172?ref_page=search#color/0000012690

If you have time, wait because regular price I think it's like $40-60 but I got mine on one of their sales (that they always have) and I only paid $20 and that included taxes (I did ship to store to avoid shipping fees and just picked it up.

Here is photo of the front. The straps come off or can be used in 3 or 4 different ways. I'll post a photo of the back of the bra too

Has 4 hooks so really supportive. It also has these gummy like lines on the inside of the bra which helps keeps everything in place! Great bra!! Great support! And this is coming from someone who didn't even ever know I could wear strapless bras because I always thought they wouldn't be enough support.
