Best Pens for Guestbook

Have you tried using the thin point sharpies? They dry well, don't smudge and come in a variety of colors. You could do a test sample on the back/bottom of one of the pages where it won't be noticeable before using them on your wedding day to be sure.

Thin point sharpies. Any sort of gel pen or ink is going to smear so I would advise against those. There are a lot of color options for what lies now so you can accommodate your wedding colors.

I also ordered a photo guestbook from Shutterfly and used the ultra fine sharpie pens. They came in a pack of pretty colors and looked great in our book. There aren't any smudges or smears that I noticed.

I hadn't even thought about this, but it sounds like ultra fine sharpies are the way to go. I'm going to have to write this down for future reference.
