Best Option

We are getting married at a hotel and our reception will be held in a large ballroom that can fit about 400 people. The ballroom has double doors on the left and right side of the room. The dance floor is in the middle of the ballroom so tables will be set up on either side. We will have a candy bar set up on the right side of the room. We will also have a late night snack set up on the right side of the room. We are trying to decide the best way to inform our guests of the candy bar and late night snack. We would hate for guests on opposite sides of the room not to see either display. We also don't want the guests to get so full that none of them eat the late night snack. There will be bags for the guests to take home candy if they want. The three options we thought of were menus at each table or at each individual seat, a large sign at the buffet with the menu listed out, or the DJ make some type of announcement. If we go with the menus option, I'm not sure if we would really need to have one for each person or if it would be enough just to have a menu displayed on the table. What do you guys think is best?

I would just have the DJ make the announcement when the things open up.

Are you doing a plated meal or buffet?

Having the DJ make an announcement toward the end of the night is a good idea. You can also mention it as you go around and talk to people. If you want to make sure people leave room for the late night snacks, having menus on the table will make people think about it during dinner. One per table should be enough. You shouldn't do one per person because people will expect to be served if they each have a menu, but I don't think anyone really pays enough attention to wedding websites for that to work as the only place.
