Best friends getting married at the same time

I'm a bridesmaid in two wedding before I get married next September....one 2 weeks before mine even! Both require me to fly to my hometown Chicago from Arizona as well. I just laid out the expectations up front that I would be happy to be part of their days but I wouldn't likely be able to make it for bachelorette parties and showers far away due to financial constraints.

It's exciting and fun but also very stressful... I feel your painnnnn

My best friend got engaged 6 days after I did, and our weddings are 2 weeks apart. We just made sure to put our friendship first, but recognize that we wouldn't be able to help each other as much as we would have otherwise. So far so good, just lots of planning to make sure things don't conflict!

I'm kind of in the same boat. My cousin's wedding is 2 months before mine. We share a lot of aunts/uncles/cousins so I'm wondering when would be a good time for sending out invitations and planning for the bridal shower without taking away from their wedding...

I have a pretty similar situation. My co-coach and good friend got engaged three months after me and is getting married two weeks after me. We have tried to keep talking about our details/events to make sure we don't overlap. I also have one of my bridesmaids getting married two months after me and we have done the same thing. You are 100% right, it helps when your visions are two very different things

One of my very good friends got engaged about 4 or 5 months before me. She hadn't really been into planning but told me last month that they are planning to get married May 2015 in Italy. I'm so excited for her day but I'm a bit anxious too.

Are you guys going to be really involved in planning their bridal showers, and other parties? I am really excited but planning more is giving me a headache. We are having her bridal shower at my parents house and are going all out for her bachelorette party.

We were originally supposed to get married September 2015- ended up changing the date to June because there were just too many weddings! We felt like our friends would be a little wedding weary by the time ours came around. So now we are kicking off the wedding season!
