Best champagne for Mimosas

Elexis, on April 23, 2019 at 1:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 15
Hey everyone! I’m having my bridal shower on Saturday and they’re planning on doing a Mimosa bar! What is the best brand of champagne to buy? I have a Costco membership, we also have Kroger’s, Meijer and Walmart near me.

For getting ready at our wedding we bought the Costco brand because it was cheap!

We bought the Kirkland Prosecco. I never care about having good sparkling wine for mimosas though since it’s being mixed with juice.

I'd go with a typical one, since you are mixing it with juice. A lot of restaurants will use cheaper ones in mimosas. You could always buy a selection and if people are self pouring (and more picky), they can choose the nicer one.

LaMarca prosecco or Cupcake prosecco is really good, but honestly if its for a mimosa bar- no one will be able to tell.. so I'd go with the $6 bottles of Andre lol. Barefoot also makes decent & well priced champagne/sparkling wines that are easy to find- we've done mimosas with sparkling barefoot moscato and they were good!

Pro tip: If you add chambord (raspberry liqueur) to them they are absolutely amazing.

I agree with Christina! Verdi is a good choice; along with Korbel & Barefoot.

Kirkland Prosecco is actually great and it's certified real prosecco. You will see the DOCG on the label!

Id say Martini Prosecco or Asti Cinzano. Just my personal preferences!

For mimosas, it doesn’t have to be a top brand. If Costco has Zonin Prosecco, it’s yummy plain or with OJ! About $6.99 at Trader Joe’s.
