Best and worst wedding youve been to

My best and worst might have been the same wedding.... It was the most gorgeous, extravagant wedding I've ever attended. The venue was exquisite, with food & beverage that just wouldn't quit (it was truly excessive...) and our huge, wonderful extended family had a blast dancing and celebrating together. Unfortunately, it later became clear the bride's incredibly sweet parents will be paying that wedding off for years, and much more unfortunately, before they'd been married for 9 months, the groom woke up one morning and told the bride (our relative) that it "wasn't working for him" and he gave her until the end of the day to move out and he literally NEVER talked to her again.... After waiting a couple weeks she filed for divorce, but to this day, has no idea what the heck happened. The entire thing was just incredibly sad on every possible level. It gave us a lot of perspective when planning daughter's wedding....
