Happy Tuesday!

I am very lucky that FH's grandmother gave him her wedding set for me to wear when he proposed. The engagement ring is perfect. The wedding band is bent. It still fits me but is almost a square lol

I am going by a local jeweler on Thursday since I will be in a city with one (none in my town). I know that it would vary from store-to-store, but has anyone had experience with this? Could you give me an idea of the cost? It's white gold. I'll attach a photo of the set but I don't have a picture of the wedding band showing where it's bent.

A jeweler should be able to reshape it for you, no problem. I worked for one about 12 years ago and he did it often. Unfortunately I don't remember how much it costs. It probably wouldn't be very helpful though because I'm sure the cost has changed in the last decade and may vary by location.

It's not very expensive. I bent my e ring after only a few weeks. Got my hand caught in a door-ring took the worst of it. It bent it to a football shape and knocked two small diamonds out of the band. It cost less than 50$ to repair and took the jeweler all of 10 minutes.

ETA:I had the repairs done at jeweler in americas mart where you have to have a wholesale license to get in... so the pricing may be a bit skewed on the lower end-but it should not cost an arm and a leg.
