Belt or no belt?

Both are pretty but I prefer the look without a belt. It has the potential to cut you in half instead

No belt, the belt is ditracting and the focus should be on the neckline that is gorgeous on you. The belt there draws the eyes to the belt and takes away the elegance of your dress

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I like it better with the belt! I am usually not for belts, but I actually think yours looks better with it. I think it’s because your dress has an extremely wide “belt” already on it, and it draws my eyes to it immediately. Usually satin dresses like this have no belt at all, or a very thin one, so as not to detract from the simplicity of the rest of the dress. Yours is wider than I’ve ever seen, so I find it draws my attention to it because it seems a little unproportionate. Adding the little blingy belt to the middle of it makes it feel more balanced.

I agree with Cece and Brittany! I'm usually not a belt fan but I think it looks great with your dress! The wide band on the dress looks like it's meant for that belt and frames it nicely!

I think the satin belt that comes with it cheapens the look of the dress; whereas the added blingy belt elevates it.

It’s ultimately your decision and how you find yourself most comfortable with. I personally like it more with the belt and veil. The belt goes very nicely with the dress. It brings out a unique pop and gives a touch of glamour. But think it through and look at yourself on it for a few more times. People will always have different opinions. But most importantly, enjoy your dress !

Another option would be to wear the belt for the ceremony, then remove it for the reception. Then you would have photos of the dress both ways- zero chance of regret then!
