Belt or no belt??

I just got my wedding dress and I am IN LOVE. Since the dress has no sparkle, I was thinking of putting a belt on it like I tried when I first bought it, but the store was selling the belt for $400. So that was a no. Now I am looking other places for a belt and now my mom says that it doesn’t need one? I am extremely indecisive so any advice would be greatly appreciated 😅

The first belt if you insist on doing a belt, otherwise I agree with your mom, it really doesn't need it. You want the focus on YOU not your dress

This is a gorgeous dress!! You look beautiful in it! I say if you want the bling go for it but it definitely can be just by itself! I will say if you are wanting that romantic feel you could go with a belt and make it pop just a little!

I love the middle picture. I put a belt on my dress and it looks super elegant. They’re expensive but mine is worth it. (My dress was around $800 though.) Best wishes to you!!!

I don't think it needs a belt bc in my opinion belts throw off the dress especially if you have a gold toned color scheme and the best is practically silver. If you want more sparkle, sometimes depending on the dress, it is really easy and cheap for seamstresses to sew on beading to the dress!! I'm pretty sure my grandma could do it and she isn't a professional. That's what I'm doing with mine but white sparkles instead of silver ones to go with my color scheme!

I agree with Marisa. I didn't even notice the belts in the pictures. I say no belt. You can add the bling as part of your jewelry or a hair piece. My dress has no bling either and it's so pretty without it. My hairstylist said to add bling everywhere else instead of the dress.

The dress is gorgeous with or without the belt but if you choose belt go with Etsy prices are very reasonable. My belt at David’s Bridal was $200 and I found one almost the same on Etsy for $50
